1. What we collect
We receive information you provide through product questions and support requests, such as your name, email address, and message. Payment details are collected and processed by Paddle and its payment providers; EDITCRAFT does not store full card details.
When you use My Library, we process the verified account email, authentication identifiers, purchase and entitlement records, download timestamps, file identifiers, approximate country/region/city, an irreversible IP-derived hash, and a limited user-agent log used for security, support, license enforcement, and refund dispute evidence. We do not store the raw IP address in the download evidence table.
2. Why we use it
- To deliver purchased digital products and customer support.
- To answer pre-sale questions and manage license requests.
- To prevent fraud, protect the service, and meet legal duties.
- To improve product documentation and the customer experience.
- To measure page visits using a pseudonymous session identifier.
- To measure advertising performance, attribute product views, registrations, checkout starts, and completed purchases, and reduce duplicate or missing conversion records.
3. Service providers
We use Vercel for website hosting, Supabase for database and asset storage and authentication, and Paddle for checkout, tax handling, payment processing, receipts, and order events. Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms and applicable data-protection obligations.
We use Meta Pixel and, where configured, Meta Conversions API for advertising measurement. Meta may receive page and product activity, checkout and purchase events, Meta browser identifiers, and privacy-preserving hashed identifiers such as an email address or account ID. We do not send full payment-card details to Meta.
4. Retention
We retain support, transaction, entitlement, and download records only as long as needed to provide the service, maintain lifetime access, enforce licenses, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and satisfy accounting or legal requirements.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of your personal data. Some records may need to be retained when required by law.
